On May 12, 1984, Southern Pacific SD45E 7399 (ex-SD45 8837) and SD40E 7342 (ex-SD40 8470) rest in Mojave after assisting SP GS-4 4-8-4 4449, on its way to Los Angeles, over the Tehachapi Mountains.
