Remarks & Notes
A two engine train heads timetable north from Guatemala City toward Rancho and Puerto Barrios. The railroad has been nationalized, but the tenders of both engines are still lettered FIdeCA for their former owner. This is the downhill direction, but the mountainous line has 3 percent grades in both directions, so trains in both directions often used two engines. This train passed a two engine uphill train at Agua Caliente. This line is still operated by Henry Posner's Ferrovias Guatemala.
