| Wood River coal empties southbound splitting Hartford, Illinois in half on the NS Alton district. With the UP Springfield sub just 2 blocks east, MPRPB waited until until this train cleared the crossings. I assume it is necessary to prevent isolating the middle section of town from emergency services. |
