Climbing out of Truckee toward Donner Pass, Amtrak #111 (ex SP 6447) is leading the Reno Fun Train West back to Oakland. Second unit #123 (ex SP 6461) was relettered but was never repainted before it was retired later that year. This train would mark the last time an all F-unit lash up would cross Donner.
