Remarks & Notes 
From the time SP's Oakland Mole closed until it was severly damaged in the 1989 earthquake, SP's 16th Station served as Oakland's main depot. In November of 1971, SP power still ruled on Amtrak's San Francisco Zephyr as witnessed by SP #6448 ready to depart for points East.
