Remarks & Notes
Northbound "School Patrol Special" drifts downhill past the station at Magnolia in late afternoon sunlight. Southern Railway protected all special moves, such as this one run for school patrol gaurds, with Mechanical Department personnel. Today's Mechanical rider is General Foreman Felix D. Freeman of Atlanta's Pegram Shops, seen looking out the window of the fireman's side door.
