| SD70M heads through the S turn at the west end of Shawmut. It will soon head west toward town of Gila Bend and the setting Sun. This area is now part of the Sonoran Desert National Monument and will be preserved. Shawmut is one of the best examples of Sonoran Desert in Arizona. |
