Many winters have passed since these tracks on the Jersey Central Railroad's Southern Division last saw a train. This location is the site of a grade crossing where a dirt road crossed the tracks. Notice the old poles on either side of the tracks that supported crossbucks, dating back to the CNJ days. A new grade crossing over the tracks is visible in the background. These tracks once hosted the famous 'Blue Comet', linking Jersey City with Atlantic City.
