ALCO Century 628 #6743 is missing all her front windows, as she sits on the dead line and suffers the indiginity of having become a parts source to keep other C628s running. She was delivered to the Pennsyvlania as their #6305 in March of 1965... 13-years-old here and ready for scrapping. Behind her is a rather unique "DeWitt Geep," rebuilt from an RS3 by Penn Central, #9959 at Wilmington, originally bought by the Pennsylvania as their #8600 in December of 1955. Instead of a raised hood, this one has bulging radiators.
