Remarks & Notes
In the hours between train movements on BNSF's "OT" line, this GRS searchlight signal at the north end of Gateway siding displays a clear block in both directions. Installed by SP&S between 1949 and 1951, these venerable signals are nearing 60 years of service for three different owners.

The Oregon Trunk, the route most well known for the Deschutes Railroad War, still sees BNSF-and at times detouring UP-traffic today. This album covers all images taken along the line between Celilo and Chemult, Oregon.
