Hobart Tower in Los Angeles, which once protected the crossing between Union Pacific's San Pedro branch and Santa Fe's busy San Bernardino Sub, sits vacant on this night and will soon be part of history once construction begins on an upcoming track project for BNSF's Hobart Yard.
