More woes for the Iowa Chicago & Eastern: The Great Flood of 2008 has brought the Mississippi River several feet over flood stage in Davenport, IA. There are actually two railroad rights-of-way in this photo: the Iowa Interstate over Government Bridge, and the ICE, which is well under water. The ICE tracks run immediately parallel to the road in the foreground, and pass under the IAIS between the pump house and the sign.
