| An ARR company work train is dumping gravel fill on two brand new tracks located just north of the Anchorage Operations Center. These are two new team tracks that will have a side and end ramp to accomodate boxcar and flat car loading/unloading to replace the former facilities north of the depot at the historic freight shed. Those tracks have been removed and are being rebuilt for passenger service. In the background the Chugach Mountains can be seen rising above the Anchorage Bowl. |
