| Evening shadows lengthen in more ways than one at Dahuichang on the southwest of urban Beijing. The 'C2' 0-8-0 had just brought yet another load of limestone down from the quarry to the stone crushing plant. The empty tubs await in the siding behind the loco and No.04 will then return the empties back to the quarry for refilling. This modest 2 kilometer line lingered on until closure in Summer 2005. No.04 was more fortunate being bought by the Ffestiniog Railway in Wales! |
