| Black Five no. 45407 crosses the viaduct over the River Tonge as it approaches Bolton with The Cotton Mill Express main line special. The children watching in the foreground are on a bowling green. This is how we bowl in the UK, on grass! The grass is as smooth as the base of a pool table. |
