Remarks & Notes
Less than twelve hours after arriving at the Port of Whittier aboard the Anchorage Provider barge from Seattle 80+ cars of general and intermodal freight are heading north along the Turnagain Arm at Bird Point destined for Anchorage and points north behind a pair of SD70MACs.

Coal and steel don't go bad. This album features long, slow, heavy freight trains; drag freights, slop freights, dead freights, etc. Trains with lots of power, and lots of different cargo slogging along behind.
