"Two years..." That is what the schedule says for the restoration of this monster (for a tourist line) to be completed. NdeM 3028 is an oil-burning light 'Niagara' or 4-8-4 built by ALCo (Schenectady) in August 1946 and weighs 387,000lbs (empty) with 55,000lbs of tractive effort.
