Remarks & Notes
One of the three DB prototype Inter-City electric units, that were later painted into Lufthansa livery to work between Frankfurt Airport and Dusseldorf Airport in lieu of short haul flights, is seen passing the ancient town of Bacharach on the west bank of the River Rhine. The hotels there must be a railfans paradise! These had the nickname 'Donald Duck' units.
