| CVSR's last regular Akron-Canton train of the 2008 season had a surprise locomotive on the head end in the form of privately-owned C&NW RSD5 1689. The unit was pressed into service when the compressor on the Budd RDC being used as a cab car died, leaving the north end of the train with no horns or headlight. |
