This is the other side of ethanol, *the side they don't show you in the news*. The Mason City Local is taking 80 cars of Dried Distillers Grain (DDG) from Lyle, MN to Mason City, IA for interchange to UP. DDG is the spent grain from the brewing process and is generally mixed into livestock feed (in this case, feeding livestock in California).
