Accra Central Station only sees a couple of trains a day now. Built by the British in 1903, it is still extant. The place is mostly ocupied by hawkers, traders, shoppers and a few vagrants. A young girl takes a mid-morning sleep (quite common in Africa) on a pretty rickety bench in the background. In theforeground is a turnout switch complete with the makers name and date of manufacture, 1908.
