Remarks & Notes

Borrowed CN GP40-2L(W) (Class GF-430c) 9616 and 9607 form two of eight helper units about to cut into an eastbound coal train at Minturn yard for the run up to Tennessee Pass on the a September evening in 1981. The locomotives were on loan for a short period to trial Super Series creep control.
