Eastbound stacks on the LA Sub pass under the Pomona footbridge, which spans both the LA Sub and the Alhambra Sub. On the right is the Southern Pacific station. The footbridge, which has become iconic in the decade or so since it was built for Metrolink, is intended to provide Metrolink commuters access to the the Pomona TransCenter, a bus station that utilizes the SP depot. SD70M #4243 was delivered to the UP from EMD on October 19, 2000, as part of an order of 285 units.
