Thanks again to the ATCS monitor system, a group of us were prepared for a westbound out of the Cascade tunnel. It was dark, I mean really dark. Huddled on the side of a snow hill, I had plenty of time to try longer and longer exposures. By the time the train was heard coming down the hill, 10 minutes was going to be the minimum. 16 minutes was required to make this image, which includes both ends of the train.
