From a pedestrian overpass, we see 203 backing down to the 5pm Easter Bunny Express of the Three Rivers Rambler. A close look down the tracks shows KXHR's Chattanooga Traction Co. SW1 #4 following the 203 to the waterfront. The 3RR crew was testing burning diesel in 203 today and had steaming troubles on the 2pm run to Marbledale. The SW1 followed the 5pm train and eventually had to shove the consist up the final hill into Marbledale from the Holston River. Fortunately, the 203 had a fresh load of waste oil, it’s usual fuel, for Sunday’s trips and performed admirably.
