| One of Modesto & Empire Traction's new grasshoppers prowls around the Beard Industrial Park. The M&ET once had a thriving fleet of GE 70-Tonners, all maintained to perfection. Though the railroad has lost none of the classy image long associated with it, it has taken a hostile attitude towards railfans. |
