Almost 500 years-worth of motive power and rolling stock are pictured leaving Oakworth station on one of the KWVR's wonderful 'Vintage Trains'. Fortunately, it was a glorious day for the event. I could scarcely believe that in a single day I had witnessed not just one, but TWO Centenarian L&Y locomotives! The other, a mere 30 miles 'over the hill' at the East Lancashire Railway. Screeners permitting, you may see the other one soon . . .
