After setting off a few cars in Kinney, 233 gets under way as he passes the classic N&W cpl's at the West End of Kinney. Train 233 and the counterpart 234 are the the only intermodal trains to run west via Bluefield. Both trains are single stack containers which then fit the tunnel clearences on the Pocahontas District. After the Heartland project is completed all intermodal trains will be able to run through Bluefield, but for now they all take the turn at Walton, on the Christainsburg District, and use the Pulaski District to get to the intermodal yards.
