A rare set of power leads this BNSF vehicle train westbound in the last light of the day. You can see the long shadows the autoracks are casting in the field to the right. To make things worse, the lead NS Dash 9 has died and the older ICE SD40-2 is doing all the hard work, as a result of which the train is not making good speed at all. In fact, coming down the hogback, the train is moving fastest it will until it picks up a unit at Hereford, another 15 miles west.
