Remarks & Notes
3-cylinder mogul 'The Great Marquess' rolls the 1st of two circular excursions along the north bank of the Firth of Forth near Culross (pronounced Q-Ross). Since the opening of the Stirling-Alloa-Kincardine rail link coal trains to Longannet Power Station (behind the camera in this shot) use the new line and this stretch has no regular traffic.
