Another exiled Swiss locomotive, former RhB 2-8-0 No 106 'Manuel Oraa' is seen on the La Robla railway turntable at Valmaseda. The metre gauge La Robla purchased seven of these engines keeping their original RhB numbers. Four of them, Nos 102, 104-106 were two cylinder compounds and the other three, Nos 109-111 were simples. Nos 107 & 108 remain with the RhB and are well known for their steam excursions on that line. Two others, Nos 101 and 103 went to Brazil while Nos 112-129 went to the Royal Thai State Railway where No 123 still survives as a museum piece. The 29 engines were all built by SLM Winterthur in 1904-15.
