Remarks & Notes
A lashup of three Class 9E electric locomotives and four Class 34-400 diesels are ready to head back to Sishen with 215 empty iron ore wagons as soon as the electrics have their pantographs raised. All ore trains on the Orex route are hauled by mixed electric/diesel electric lashups, with another three locomotives as mid-train power and often with another pair of locomotives pushing at the rear end of the train, all controlled by one crew in the lead locomotive.
