| When Canadian Pacific puts locomotives into storage they probably end up in Thief River Falls. 22+ locomotives line a couple of storage tracks near the old SOO Line Roundhouse formerly occupied by Independent Locomotive Service. First there were only a couple of locomotives such as a couple GP9's and SD40-2's, but more recently a number of SOO SD60's have shown up since early on in 2009. CP 8270 hasn't seen activity in about two years since it has been sitting in storage in Thief River Falls. Only after doing some weeding I was able to get the entire front end of 8270 visible. |
