Before it became famous, passengers disembark from a Lawyers special from Anchorage at Wasilla in August 1985. Power for the trip was GP49 2808 along with power car P-6 (formerly UP E9B 963B/Amtrak 666) - and yes, inspection of the leading dome car before departure revealed "Property of D & RGW", or words to that effect, above the end doors - a former California Zephyr car by all accounts.
