| Westbound 489 is just about to the east switch at Elkton where they will head in to meet 488. This track has seen big improvement since 2007. Photo #195761 shows the same location with 90 pound jointed rail 10 mph track, to now 136 pound welded rail 40 mph track. DM&E has done alot of improvement to its track structure in the last 3 years. |
