Due to congestion in Galesburg yard, this trio of SD9's, normally assigned as yard power, was ushered into mainline service this day to shuttle cuts of cars to outlying locations. Here they are westbound through Kirkwood, Illinois taking a cut of cars to be held at Burlington, Iowa. The power came back to Galesburg power light and took another cut down to a siding on the K-line later that day.
