Metrorail operates an upmarket express commuter service between Pretoria (Tshwane) and Johannesburg, known as the Tshwane Business Express (TBE). Ageing class 5M2A EMU stock was remanufactured by Transnet Rail Engineering into two new 10M5 trainsets for the TBE. On a beautiful summer morning, set TBE2 is seen running as train 1606, the 05:40am departure from Pretoria to Johannesburg. Note that the driver is wearing collar and tie, appropriate for a Business Express!
