Remarks & Notes
Salt City Energy Ventures rebuilt the old Allied Chemical power plant in Solvay, NY creating a coal fired cogen plant. They utilized two Alco S6 units number SCEV 1 and SCEV 2 to switch coal cars around the plant. Both of these were former Allied Chemical switchers that had served the site when it was a chemical plant. SCEV 1 is former SP 1064.
