Union Pacific's Clifton Local wraps around the horseshoe curve at top of Drive Canyon near Clifton, Arizona. The local ran six days per week out of Lordsburg, New Mexico, to serve Phelps Dodge's Morenci Mine, among the largest copper mines on the continent; its tailings are visible in the background. The Arizona Eastern Railroad now operates this line, having acquired it from UP in 2007.
