On a nice spring morning, an eastbound CLNA freight breaks the silence of the forest as it breaks into a clearing shortly after leaving Wilson bound for Chocowinity. The GP30/35 lashup in charge today share a remarkably similar heritage. They were built in 1963 and 1965, respectively, for the Pennsy. They then went to Penn Central, Conrail, and Nebraska-Kansas-Colorado Railnet before coming to the CLNA in 2009, a testament to the EMD 567.
