The Maumee & Western creeps westbound through Okolona after switching customers in Napoleon. The hirail truck usually follows the train, and watches it over the worst sections of track...not that there are a lot of "good" sections of track on this line. Deferred maintenance by N&W, NS, Indiana Hi-Rail, and the current operator restrict train speeds to a crawl, and derailments are a somewhat regular occurrence.
