What has now become part of the scenic landscape in rural West Virginia, rests the once famous N&W Bluestone Branch. This coal branchline was N&W's answer to the Virginian Railways tapping into the remote coalfields of the area. The modern day NS, P-D Div. still uses a route that crosses the old branchline in several places. Thanks to Chase Gunnoe for the inspiration.
