Back in Amtrak's early days, I never thought that we'd ever see Los Angeles Union Station as busy as it is today! The advent of Metrolink commuter trains helped, and even though a few of the departures on the station's board are Amtrak California buses, there are a lot of trains in and out of the station each day. The arrival and departure board doesn't even list all the MTA Gold Line trolleys and Red Line subway trains that serve this station, either.
