| ALCo. RSD16 #8466 (built in ALCo.-Schenectady and shipped from there on 3 February 1959 with b/n 82793) rests in Retiro Sation between runs in local passenger service. Number 8466 is member of the original group of 45 units assigned new to the General San Martin line of Ferrocarriles Argentinos. Time has seen her being renumbered as B819 when she was allocated to Femesa in 1991, keeping that number under service with now defunct private operator Transportes Metropolitanos San Martin. |
