After negotiating nearly one hundred miles of continuous canyons, an eastbound Los Angeles to Denver Z train enters the Clover Valley east of Islen. After topping the 5,972 foot summit at Crestline, the train will encounter straight track again on its way to a crew change at Milford, Utah.
