The California Zephyr climbs the Rookies on its westward trek. I lost my breath twice on this shot, first the hike up, and then the view from the rocks! For a just off the plane, flat-lander from New Jersey, the high altitude air mixed with a steep climb turned me into a panting dog, begging for more!
