| After the Soo bought up the Milwaukee Road most of the Roads roster oddity's were quickly weeded out and things became pretty plain for a few years. The Milwaukee Rebuilt SD10,GP20 models along with the SDL39's were mainly stored, sold, or leased out. For some reason the Soo kept three of the SD10's. These were in and out of service and wandered about the property popping up in unlikely applications and locations. This pair has been drafted into ballast train service and is tearing up the west bank of the Mississippi with a 40 car train. |
