Remarks & Notes
Empty hopper train LG1 crosses the "high trestle" as it grinds up Muldraugh Hill between West Point and Fort Knox. This is the southward ruling grade on the P&L. Today's train has a rather interesting consist with eight units total: 2112 (slug), 2119 (GP40-3), 3800 (GP38-2), 8507 (GP39-2), 2123 (GP40-2), CEFX 121 (SD9043MAC), 2113 (GP40-3), 2114 (slug). These units came up the previous evening on LG2, loaded coal, running as a distributed power train.
