Remarks & Notes
It gets very cold on the uplands of eastern Utah. This early March shot shows a fair amount of snow still on the ground as the Deseret Ry's morning train pulls slowly out of the unloading loop at the power plant and begins to accelerate back up to track speed. This will be the only train today on this RR. Operations depend on mine output and power plant needs; some days have two trains and some days only one. Friday, Saturday and Sunday generally have none.
