| After connections from Helsinki to Haemeenlinna and St. Petersburg had been made, connection to the city Tampere (Swedish Tammerfors) was next to get state approval. In 1874 the line was commissioned. Here a Intercity pulled by Sr2 3225 on the way from Haemeenlinna to Tampere approaching the Vanajavesi bridge. |
